The Wonderland project Album Launch Email Article To a Friend   View Printable Version
August 25, 2008 (03:18PM EDT)
Contributed by: wonderlandproj

The History of Science & How to Mend a Broken Heart is an album by The Wonderland Project and is a selection of British vignettes set in off-kilter electro-pop arrangements.

Forgoing the usual appeal to MySpace-gathered kith and kin, the band will instead randomly distribute good old-fashioned CDs as they and their agents travel around the UK. They’re free, of course, and if you find one you can be part of TWP’s roving album experiment.

Finders of the limited edition, numbered CD will be encouraged to rip the songs to their computer, before leaving the CD somewhere else for others to find. They will also be asked to tell the band via the website where the CD was dropped, so the individual journeys can be plotted on the roving album map.
